Policies
1. Tracy Adams Photography retains all copyright ownership of all images created as a result of this portrait session. Images may not be reproduced for any reason without the express written permission of Tracy Adams. Any unauthorized duplication or publication will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
2. If canceling your session, for any reason, please give at least 48 hours notice. If notice is not received, your session fee will be forfeited and will not be applied to a future date.
3. A session fee is charged for the time and talent of the photographer. It is due at the time of scheduling to reserve your date and time. The session fee may be paid by cash, check or credit card. Please make checks payable to, “Tracy Adams.” Checks must be received within 3 days of scheduling your session, otherwise your session will be cancelled.
4. Session fee is not refundable. If rescheduling is necessary, your deposit will be credited to your rescheduled appointment.
5. No other photographic equipment may be used during our session. Outside flashes can have an effect on the images captured at your session.
6. You will be shown a minimum of 25 proofs from your session (more often there will be more to choose from). Any image that may contain closed eyes, motion blur or does not meet the standards set forth by the photographer will not be shown. I want to maintain the highest standard of quality, so only your best images will be available for purchase.
7. Proofs will be shown in color, with a select few shown in black & white. Please keep in mind that you are viewing the proofs, not the end product. When viewing on an un-calibrated screen your pictures may look brighter or darker, more or less saturated than the actual print or final product. Please contact me if you are drawn to a particular image that might seem “off” on your monitor.
8. Proofs will be made available within 14 business days after your session date for viewing. At this time, you will view your prints and place your order within 3 days or there will be a $100 rehosting fee to repost the gallery for an additional 3 days. You will be given a password to access your gallery. The password may be shared with whomever you would like. If the in-home consultation is used, a deposit of $250 must be paid beforehand and will be applied to your final order. All products must be paid for before Tracy Adams Photography will send orders for prints, albums, canvas and any other ordered products and services.
9. Your online gallery will be available for viewing for 3 days. This is a standard for all clients and will be adhered to, in order to allow for the full service and consultation that you, the client desires. After this time, your gallery will be taken down. If, after this time, you need to review your proofs again, a $100 reposting fee will be charged. All orders not placed within 30 days will be deleted from the system and not available after that time.
10. Orders that are altered or cancelled (either in whole or in part) after ordering is complete will be subject to full current prices and all discounts offered will be void. Discounts applied must be applied at time of order, there are to be no retroactive discounts or credits applied.
11. Prices are subject to change without notice. To benefit from current pricing or specials, re-orders must be made and paid in full within 30 days from your original order. Only ordered images can be reordered. If ordering or paying after this time, your order will be subject to current price listings.
12. Once order is placed and paid in full, images will be sent to the lab for processing. Portraits will be available for delivery within 3-4 weeks or sooner. I will contact you when your order is available.
13. ONLY Ordered images are stored for one year. Images ordered on CD are not archived and are not stored for 1 year. Re-orders are available, subject to current price listings, only available on previously ordered prints or products and will be assessed a $50 archival fee.
14. All orders needing shipping will be assessed a 3% handling fee (calculated from order total) in addition to the actual shipping cost. This includes UPS shipping with delivery tracking and optional insurance. Insurance cost is dependent on the value of prints.
15. All sales subject to Georgia state sales tax of 6%.
16. Returned checks, for any reason, are subject to a $50 service charge and will constitute cancellation of your order if not paid in full within 3 days of notification by Tracy Adams Photography.
17. Please take note regarding purchasing the CD of digital image files: The files are jpeg files that are not resized. Any cropping, resizing and upsizing is done by you, the client, as this is my "do it yourself" option.
After the CD is purchased, the archiving is your responsibility (make several copies for safekeeping as I do not keep copies of any files after I send the CD)
No additional images can be ordered of the files after the purchase is final. All enlargements (including canvas prints) need to be done at time of the original order.
18. Due to the nature of this product, refunds are not available.

Release:
For valuable consideration received, I hereby grant to “Tracy Adams Photography” ("Photographer") the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission in respect of photographic portraits or pictures that he/she had taken of me or in which I may be included with others, to copyright the same, in his/her own name or otherwise; to use re-use, publish, and re-publish the same in whole or in part, individually or in any and all media now or hereafter known, and for any purpose whatsoever, for illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising and trade, or any other purpose whatsoever without restriction as to alteration; and to use my name in connection therewith if he/she so chooses.
I hereby release and discharge Photographer from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.
This authorization and release shall also inure to the benefit of the heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of Photographer, as well as the person(s) for whom he/she took the photographs.
I am of full age and have the right to contract in my own name. I have read the foregoing and fully understand the contents thereof. This release shall be binding upon me and my heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
